The Open Water Course -
The course is comprised of three sections: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Dives and Open Water Dives.

Knowledge development consists of 5 modules covering the theory behind scuba diving. You will completie this part at home with elearnig you will recieve.

Then you have 5 confined water dives to undertake. In shallow water you learn everything from equipment set up, how to easily clear water from your mask, to neutral buoyancy and key safety aspects.

Once your theory work and confined water dives are finished, we will move on to your 4 Open Water dives, where you get the chance to put the skills you've learnt into practice and start to explore at some of our amazing dives sites.
Once completed you will be awarded your Open Water certification!
Requirements
- Be at least ten (10) years old
- Medically fit to dive (click here for the form)

Information:
- Your training will be under the direct supervision of a Dive Professional
- All the scuba rental equipment you will need is included
- Guaranteed small groups for maximum learning potential
- All divers are insured for the duration of the course
- Once qualified, you will be able to dive to 18 metres

• Course Details Duration - 3 days of diving Includes E-learning home study Max depth - 18 metres Minimum age - 10 yrs Pre requisites - medically fit and able to swim
• Class size Maximum 4 students per class. This allows flexibility and attention to your needs from our instructors
• Training location All training dives take place in the sea, we do not need to use a pool. This means every dive you do will be a real dive experience. Location - At our facility in La Manga. Shallow water sites at Cala Fria, Cala Escalera and Cala Cortina are perfect for training.
• Agency and Certification We offer diver training from both PADI and SSI. Both are interantionally recognised and have the ISO 24801-2 quality standard for scuba diving.
• Pricing All Open Water courses include equipment rental and e-learning. Cost is €500 per student. An extra fee of €50 will be charged for all PADI certifications.
